Kunsthall Trondheim presents Acid Rhythms, a group exhibition celebrating women’s pioneering image-processing & early computer animation videos.

Beginning in the late 1960s, artists working in video became impassioned about the possibilities of camera-less image creation. The artists’ works mark the ways in which rhythm became an important site of interpolation between the body & the emerging computational machine, from improvisational psychedelic environments to multi-layered ballet dancers bringing focus to form, technique and precise choreography.
